Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for managing the overall project controls, planning & scheduling, cost management, estimating and risk management for key projects in both Singapore and globally

  • Develop proper project control procedures to monitor the progress of project, including control of project budget and cost variation

  • Prepare regular project status reports with data analysis and recommendation of action plans, with proper project documentation

  • Draft and review Consultant Service or other contractual agreements and Scope of Services/ Fee analysis

  • Work with Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender packages and bid documents. Review, analyse, evaluate and recommend tender proposals

  • Review construction contracts, contract administration and construction site programme

  • Seek continuous improvements through value engineering and other methods, and identify synergistic opportunities within the Group

  • Takes ownership of deliverables with the ability to work independently or as part of a wider group.


Requirements:

  • Degree or relevant qualifications from fields of Engineering, Quantity Surveyor, Project or Construction Management or equivalent

  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant construction experience in handling Premium/Luxury/Grade A projects requiring high level of detailing and finishes

  • Hands-on project management exposure from inception through to completion and handover

  • Extensive exposure to overseas construction projects including luxury hospitality portfolio

  • Candidates with QS background and experience handling contractor legal disputes will have an advantage

  • Independent worker who is detailed oriented and possesses good written and verbal communications skills

  • Willing to travel as required to work on overseas projects assigned
